That being said, I roughly see what you want to do, and honestly, any software that can properly manage a timeline and add good 2D effects will do the job. The only thing is to be careful with the codecs; there are often quality losses at the time of encoding the final version.

To replicate the desired effect of "a guy, a girl", I used motion capture and simply Movie Maker. I mean by that putting together slightly different images. The advantage is that it takes little time.

Well, apparently, they no longer do Xpress Pro, but you can download Media Composer in an unbridled trial version (to be confirmed) for 30 days.

The problem is that while Media Composer and its addons would fit well, when you see the price, you'll cry tears of blood... We're not talking about software for €300, but rather several thousand.

Xpress Pro back in the day, properly completed with the right 3D addons, cost around $3500 and some change...
