Insert a hyperlink in a LinkedIn post.

Hello,

I'm looking for how to insert links in my posts on LinkedIn.

Actually, if I type a link (a web address), it works but it's rather "ugly".
I would like to write "toto", for example, and have it linked to a page that I would indicate. So instead of the link appearing as a web address (which is a bit "hard to digest"), it would just say "toto" and with one click, you would access the page in question.

Here's an example of a post where there's a link at the top like I would like to make:

hello  if you include a web link, LinkedIn automatically creates a link (LinkedIn) that redirects to the site you entered. you can only see it once the post is published.

Hello,

To add a hyperlink in your article:

 Type the text.
 Highlight the text.
 Click on the link icon (chain links) in the toolbar at the top of the page and insert your URL.
 Press Enter or click on Apply.

Thank you very much for your reply. Your explanation seems very clear to me, but the issue is that I cannot find the "link icon (chain links) in the toolbar at the top of the page."

Actually, I’m on PC and I have this:
- "Start a post," which opens a new window where I can only type my text and where I only have 3 icons at the bottom of this window (camera, video, and "decoration")
- Once the post is edited, I can modify it, but I practically have no more options. I then have 3 horizontal dots that offer me the possibility to: "copy the link to the post," "edit the post," "delete the post," and "disable comments on the post."

On the rest of the page, I have a line at the top with the LinkedIn icon, the search bar, the buttons "Home," "Network," "Jobs," "Messaging"...

In fact, I don’t see what "toolbar at the top of the page" you are talking about. (Otherwise, I am familiar with the "link icons" that I know well, but I cannot find them here...

I understand, I found what you indicated, thank you!!!

But actually your solution only works if we write an article and not if we simply want to make "a post". If you click on "start a post" then there is no such possibility…

The link I mentioned is that of a post. However, upon closer inspection, it is not an internet link but a link to a LinkedIn page... So, I know how to do it, it's the same as mentioning a person, you just need to type an @ before the name.

Ultimately, I think it is not possible IN A POST to make a "classic" internet link like the one that can be made IN AN ARTICLE on LinkedIn.

In what I wrote to you, you can definitely insert a link to anything.

And yes, for the moment it's not possible for a post... at least it seems to me...
