Hello, I no longer have the back and forward arrows on my SAFARI internet page on my Mac. How can I get them back? Thanks in advance.
Menu Presentation, Customize Toolbar ... and drag the desired icons.
NO, it's grayed out so I can't access it, as well as Always Show Toolbar in Full Screen.
That's why I'm asking this question again (I've done some research).
Configuration: Macintosh / Safari 11.1.2

Hello,
As we are not clairvoyants, you need to at least say which OS you are on ;-)

When all else fails, read the manual ;)

You will try this: Safari closed.
From the Finder/"Go" menu while holding down the option key/click on "Library" and go to "Preferences," you drag the file "com.Apple.safari.plist" to the trash.
You relaunch Safari and try to restore your menu bar, as you attempted to do; the menus should be accessible (View menu/Customize...).

I am not on High Sierra and I see that the menu has changed compared to my version.
Have you tried opening the presentation menu, which I see all the way to the left of your menu bar?

When everything has failed, read the manual ;)

Good evening, I'm back to continue our discussion as I had to step away. Still no arrows and no favorites visible, it's frustrating.
The photo above shows that under Display it's grayed out (always show the toolbar), does anyone know why this suddenly changed? I haven’t done any updates!
Thank you for your help as it’s very annoying to have to search through bookmarks, etc.

Good evening,
There is something to try, which is to download and install the combined update of High Sierra:
https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1970?viewlocale=fr_LU&locale=fr_LU
Even if the currently installed version is already up to date, it could fix everything, and there is no risk in doing it. A bug might have occurred.

Hello dede74000,
I downloaded and installed it, and it's working again. There was a Safari update that I also completed. A big thank you for your help because without bookmarks it's not great for research.
Now I have another issue with Thunderbird, I can’t send emails, I receive them but can’t send because I have a Free email address but I'm with the SFR operator, and it has been blocking for some time. Can you tell me which email software you use? Knowing that I have several Free email addresses, both professional and personal. I will open another discussion.
Have a nice day.

Hello,
The combo update is often the right remedy for this type of problem, and that's a good thing.
For my email, I use "Mail," provided by Apple and part of the suite of applications that Apple offers us.
When using email addresses from a different provider than the one we are subscribed to, it is necessary to configure the accounts with the sending server (smtp) of the ISP (Internet Service Provider) for POP type accounts; if the accounts are set up as imap, you must keep the smtp of the address provider.
Not knowing Thunderbird, except by name, I can't tell you more, but for all "normal" ISPs (Free, SFR, Bouygues, Orange...) and POP type accounts, the setup is: receiving server =
that of the email address provider and sending server = that of the ISP (subscription)
Best regards
PS: here are the servers of the main ISPs
