DHCP Lease Expiration Issue

Hello,
For some time now, I've been experiencing a small problem that came out of nowhere.
During gaming sessions, I sometimes get disconnected without warning. I didn't understand where the problem was coming from, and I even changed my Ethernet cable, but the issue persists, considering my PC is less than 2 months old.
After doing some research online, I stumbled upon a story about "leases obtained and lease expiring," and that’s when I checked ipconfig/all and noticed several times that my disconnections occurred during the lease renewal!
I wanted to know if this is normal? Could it be related to my ISP? Or is there another solution?
P.S.: I didn't have this issue before; it appeared all of a sudden.
Thank you for your help!

Hi,
Normal: impossible to say. It can be, or it may not be. It depends on the DHCP lease duration settings on the router.
To clarify a bit more:
What box do you have?
Are you connected via Ethernet cable directly to the box or through powerline adapters or something else?
What is the DHCP lease duration provided in the ipconfig by the box? If needed, please send us a screenshot or a copy/paste of the content.

In Ethernet directly, then, to the box, without powerline adapters?
A priori? :-)
When was it issued and when does the lease expire?
Eventually, it is possible to increase the DHCP lease duration at the box level. Otherwise, set the IP address to static in the box. That way, the issue should no longer arise. -

A change in configuration at the level of the box or something else...
Impossible to say, given the circumstances. Or maybe your connection between your computer and your Freebox is dropping, which causes a disconnection. It’s hard to say without a little more observation.
Are you sure that the issues only occur every time the lease expires?
If that's the case, increase the duration of the DHCP leases and see if the problem persists.
