    Multiply by 5:
    14.18*5=70.90
    Result 70.9%

        Oh là là !

This isn't math yet: barely the basics of arithmetic in elementary school!

And no logic techniques are called upon here; just a pinch of common sense...

        Best regards :-)

        Hello,

In my (very) distant youth, at primary school, we would have sung in unison:

        I got 14.18 out of 20!

On a scale of 1, that would be 20 times less, so I divide 14.18 by 20, that gives me 0.709!

And on a scale of 100, that would be 100 times more, so I multiply 0.709 by 100, that gives me 70.90!

        And we didn't have calculators...

        Best regards,

        ............
