Question

Hello, I want to set my phone to preferred LTE by dialing #*#*4636#*#* but the phone shows "Connection problem or invalid MMI code. Please try again." I am with Free (19.99 plan) and I have a Honor 5C.

You enter #*#*4636#*#* but that's not the right code, it needs to start with *#*# and end like you wrote #*#*
But be careful, if you force LTE Only, you won't be able to make or receive calls just so you know beforehand...
