Hello everyone
I have a little issue following the addition of an SSD and I would need your help.
Let me describe what I did:
I have a laptop that I use for gaming with a 1TB HDD.
Being somewhat limited on storage space, I added a 1TB SSD internally.
Since I'm not very skilled in computers, I opted to clone my disk using the software "Renee Becca".
Once the copy was finished, I restarted to the BIOS and changed the boot disk to the SSD.
The PC restarted and checked the new configuration.
The issue is that I have the impression that Windows still thinks the HDD (:C) is the primary disk and the SSD (:E) is the secondary. This means that everything I install goes to :C instead of :E, and I regularly get the following message: Restart to repair drive errors.
Does anyone have a solution? I would like to have the SSD (:E) with the operating system and the HDD (:C) as storage for my games.

A system always installs on the "main" disk, which is usually the C: drive.
In practice, if I understood correctly, you would like the new SSD to be the main drive and the old one to be secondary?
Actually, when installing a system, it's better to remove the second disk, so it will become the C: drive.
Once everything is finished, you can add the second disk (your old one), which will take another letter or you can "rename" it.
