DV Cable to USB or HDMI

Hello,
What cable or converter should I use to connect my camcorder (Canon MD101) with a DV connection to my laptop that doesn't have an IEE1394 (FireWire) port but has a USB2 port and an HDMI port?
My PC doesn't have a slot for a PCMCIA card.
