Linux printer drivers search

Hello everyone,

I recently installed Ubuntu on my PC but I can't find the drivers for the Epson Stylus DX 4050 printer... Could you please indicate a website where I could download these drivers?

    Thank you! I still did some research before asking you... but I've looked through your page and I can't find the right driver for this serial number DX 4050 :-(

      I don't understand.... on the page you click on drivers and you get a new page with a driver to download...
      But strangely it announces a .zip program (epson31411eu.zip) of 499 bytes ????
      that said I am not a specialist at all in linux... and I found installation stuff for this printer that does not seem simple at all....

    I continued to search on my own like a big boy ;-)

    and I found this page that seems to be the right one

    but here's the thing /

    I don't see the serial number of my printer in the "Form for download" section :-(

    should I take the drivers for the DX4000 in the absence of those for the DX 4050? ...
    it seems that the same drivers would work for many printers under linux ...

    then it looks "a little complicated" for a newbie like me who is just starting out on ubuntu

    for example in the manual "userg_revG_e.pdf"

    "The SANE package version 1.0.3 or later must be installed before
    installing Image Scan! for Linux"

    ???

    how many drivers do I need to install before installing the driver? :-/

      ps: check if you have the packages (in the link) otherwise proceed with the installation then reboot your machine and reconnect your printer via its port.....
