Edit .EPS file with GIMP and Ghostscript

Hello,

I want to edit an .EPS file with Gimp. I have downloaded Ghostscript 9.15 and created the variable C:\\Program Files\\gs\\gs9.15\\bin\\gswin32c.exe
But I still can’t open my file with Gimp.

What should I do?

    The EPS format is an encapsulated format.

    In your EPS, you can have both an image and vector data.

    If it's vector data, the software or plugin needs to perform rasterization to open it in an image editing software.

    Try opening your EPS in Inkscape.
