Hello everyone
I want to send a down jacket by post to a friend I talk to online, and I would like to know if it is necessary for the sender to include their address and name or if I can use my pseudonym + first name and my email address instead? He will send me his address and full name for the shipment
And can I go directly to the post office with the jacket to send and buy a parcel and everything needed at the post office to send it directly?
Thank you very much for the answers, have a good day.

Hello.
If you send your package normally (neither Colissimo nor Chronopost) and without registering it, no address or sender's mention is required.
But if the package gets lost, or if there was an error in the address and the package is not delivered, you will have no way to retrieve it!
And the recipient, if they are naturally suspicious, might be afraid to open it, fearing that it is a booby-trapped package...

How can I send a package without Colissimo/Chronopost? Just a box and that's it? Or just the jacket attached? Because if I write "Jacket" plus my nickname on the box, the recipient will understand that it's mine. And if the package gets lost, it’s an old jacket so it's not a huge loss (not cool but not a big deal, it's just to help out).
And how much would it cost to send it like this?
Thanks for the information!
I hope there's a post office in your village...
And to think that I'm using my volunteer time for this!!!
