Hello,
My PC won't boot Windows 10 anymore, so I downloaded the tool to reinstall it onto a USB drive. When I tried, the installation didn't take place because Windows couldn't be installed on my hard drive at the partition selection point; I got an error message saying it wasn't possible due to some components not being installed.
Now when I restart my PC with the bootable USB drive, I get an error code 0xc0000098...
What should I do? Is the computer screwed?

Configuration: Configuration: iPad / Chrome 56.0.2924.79

Hello,

Error 0xc0000098 is related to a BCD error.
The boot part of Windows is damaged.
It may be repairable, but if you prefer to reinstall Windows, that's fine.

If you have the error even with the USB drive, you may not have changed the boot sequence to boot from the USB drive.

Check the boot sequence: boot sequence

So actually, when I don't insert the USB drive, it goes through the 4 boots and then launches the boot menu as if nothing worked. When I insert the USB drive, I get the error message...

The boot order is correct, another solution?
