Hello,

I am reaching out to you because I have purchased a MTX subwoofer kit that includes the subwoofer and the amplifier. After doing some research on how to install it, I realized that it exceeds my electromechanical skills ^^
So I called a specialist to get some information, and he is offering me the installation for 150 euros along with the purchase of the remaining cables (those that are not included in the kit, power cables...)
I find that relatively expensive.
Is this the usual price, or is he taking advantage of the situation?

    he's taking advantage of your ignorance about electronics, but it's very simple to install, you just need to follow the assembly plan below

    on this link there are several wiring diagrams, in your configuration you should look at the wiring where there are pictures of the amplifiers and the following diagram.

    run the red or blue cable from the battery to the trunk and connect the brown or gray ground wire to a metal part of the body that has been sanded to expose the metal for better contact, then run the small blue wire (called remote) from the car stereo to the amplifier so that the amplifier turns on when the car stereo turns on.

    to connect the subwoofer to the amplifier use a cable with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² and you need to set the car stereo so that the signal goes to the amplifier but if you can't do it you can ask the guy who told you how much it costs just to annoy him that you managed to connect it.
