Driver for Epson 1670

Hello,

I found on the CCM site the driver "révé" (EPSON 325835 eu) for my EPSON Perfection 1670 scanner. Bad luck, when installing it the roguekiller software installs itself.
Following this operation, I uninstalled Roguekiller, moreover I ran a REGEDIT to remove any trace, but .... nothing works ????

Exactly, it’s the same (EPSON 325835 eu.exe), the result is the same.

The most terrible thing in this story is that I’ve already had this problem. At the time (when I changed my PC and therefore the operating system) I had the same problem and I called Windows support, the guy found the solution and if I remember a bit… the driver number of Epson and Roguekiller software had the same number or something like that. Once the problem was solved I forgot to note the solution that was given.

    Hello;

I don’t have this type of scanner, but I just downloaded it via the link I mentioned earlier, actually the same one as CCM and there’s no problem, it installs fine but obviously I can’t run it since I don’t have the hardware, and I don’t see Roguekiller at installation ????

I think you have a problem on your machine
See you later for your comments

Thank you for your help! It's certainly coming from my PC and perhaps because I previously had that roguekiller! Here is the "process" of the install: 1st 2nd 3rd 4th and ... 5th So we can note that from the 3rd phase, it goes live!

Hello Malekal_morte; Thanks for your help >> I don’t think there’s any relation to the CCM entry because I had proposed the Epson link >> Here and the issue seems to be the same ?? I hope Bou2ral will follow up? Best regards

yes, it's not the sheet, it's the Epson setup that’s badly done.

    I reproduced the problem...

It happens if a setup.exe is already present in the same folder as the downloaded Epson setup epson324565eu.exe, epson324565eu.exe etc.
Since the Epson setup must be in your download folder... the RogueKiller setup.exe downloaded previously must be there.

You must delete this Roguekiller setup.exe.

We can see it in the screenshot below, the Epson setup launches the setup.exe found in the same folder... here it is the RogueKiller one.

    It’s very poorly designed.

In "download" the setup 324565eu.exe of Roguekiller does not exist.
But I think that my problem, not resolved today, will be resolved very soon; my PC is going back to HP tomorrow, due to "bad system config info" – in two words it wouldn’t start anymore. So perhaps the air of Poland will be beneficial to it!!!:

Thank you very much for your help!

My PC seems to back in shape apparently. However I still have a problem with the driver for the Perfection 1670 scanner. I have installed and uninstalled the driver 5 times, whether under Epson or CCM, by the way it's the same reference 325835.
The scan starts, the carriage moves forward and back, but the result is a blank page.
If anyone has a solution, I’m listenning!!!
