Hello,
Today I installed a game, and upon rebooting, my PC erased my default input language which is French (FRANCE). When I went to the language settings to see what was going on, I noticed that I can no longer select "Français (FRANCE)" which no longer appears, so I am forced to type with the input language French (Belgian) which is also in AZERTY, but has some differences nonetheless.
I did a cleanup with Spybot + CCleaner, but it still doesn’t work.

You can fix your problem by doing this:
- Right-click on the Start menu > Control Panel
- Go to "Language"
- Remove French (Belgium) if it appears in the list of languages.
- Select French (France) and click on "options" (on the right)
- Remove the French (Belgium) keyboard
- Go back to the previous menu
- Go to "advanced settings"
- Make sure everything is set to French (France)
- Click on "Apply language settings to the welcome screen, system accounts, and new user accounts"
- Check both boxes at the bottom > OK
The Belgian keyboard shouldn't bother you anymore in the future
edit: If you only have French (Belgium) in your list of languages, start by adding French (France) (button "add a language")
Then select French (France) and click on the "move up" button
You can now remove French (Belgium) and complete the steps above. Feel free to ask if you need more information.

I did what you told me, but it didn't work.
On the window "Apply language settings to the welcome screen, system accounts, and new user accounts," it says this:
"Input language: unable to read the setting" and that for the welcome screen, the current user, and new user accounts.
If so, I would need you to take screenshots of your language list, the "options" page for the French (France) language, and the window "Apply language settings to the welcome screen, system accounts, and new user accounts"
It seems that your language settings are corrupted
