Hello
For the past two days, I haven't been able to watch movie trailers on cinema websites using Chrome, as I get the message "unable to download the Plug-In". However, I can watch them normally on YouTube and it works fine on Internet Explorer.
Thank you for your help.

Under YouTube, videos are in HTML5 format. On which site is it blocked? Right-click on a video that you can't play to see which plugin is causing the issue (Flash? Java?).

Hey, well hello, unfortunately I don't have an answer to your question but I can suggest a movie site called "voir film" where you can watch your favorite series and movies. ;)

The trailers are from Actu ciné, Comme au cinéma, etc., and on some trailers, a message asks me to right-click to activate the Plug-In, but nothing happens? In the Chrome settings, the famous plug is enabled. Hence my confusion.
      Best regards.

And did you activate Adobe Flasher? Sometimes the problem comes from that...

It's best to do a little reinstall of Flash Player, Java, or Shockwave.

You should also check if you have an extension that blocks certain content or an overly paranoid antivirus.

The problem is solved by uninstalling Chrome and reinstalling it.
      Weird.

No, it's not weird, it's computer science :) Today I fixed a Firefox that wouldn't launch by installing the latest version of Firefox. There you go. What matters is that your problem is solved :)
