Hello,
I want to reset my Samsung Galaxy Core Prime to factory settings because it is getting slower and slower.
Should I reset it by removing the SIM card to keep my data intact?

Your data is not all on your SIM card; it should only have the contacts. I advise you to connect your phone to a PC via USB to move what you need to restore the phone normally (removing the SIM if you need the contacts).
And when you finish the restoration and do the initial setup of the phone, reconnect your phone via USB and move everything back to your phone.
