Adding a character in a cell

Hello everyone

I've read the other threads but they don't answer my issue

I have about 1300 cells to modify
they are composed like this "A11" and should end up like this "A1.1"
if I apply =LEFT(A1,4)&"-"&MID(A1,5,20) it removes the last digit, I get "A1."

do you have a solution?

and do you have the application method? I might be making an application mistake
