Keyboard bug: multiple letters per key

Question

Hello,    Configuration: Mac OS X (10.11.4) / Chrome 51.0.2704.63  I have seen similar problems in previous posts, but none of the provided solutions have resolved my issue. I connected an external keyboard to my Mac Book Pro, but when I type, it types letters that I didn't press on the keyboard.  For example: I type "t", it displays "at" on the screen. For example: I type "b", it displays "bw" on the screen.  I have already checked the updates and keyboard/mouse/trackpad settings...  Thank you in advance for your responses ;)

Lol, and you don't forget to tell us that you spilled something on the keyboard???? Come on, I'm going to be nice, when you clean your keyboard, don't spray the product directly on it.

Standard exchange of the top case, there's nothing else to do.

Hello,

Please specify which keyboard you are referring to. Is it the laptop keyboard or an external keyboard?
If it's an external keyboard, is it a Mac keyboard or compatible, wired or wireless?

On all applications (TextEdit, word processor like Word, spreadsheet…?)

Have you tried another session?

Perhaps a conflict between keyboards?

The theory is that you can disable the internal keyboard of a Macbook by typing or pasting the following command in the Terminal:

sudo kextunload /System/Library/Extensions/AppleUSBTopCase.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleUSBTCKeyboard.kext/

and to reactivate it, you need to paste this command:
sudo kextload /System/Library/Extensions/AppleUSBTopCase.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleUSBTCKeyboard.kext/

When you paste these commands in the Terminal, then press Enter, the system asks for the Admin password of the session.
You don't see what you enter as characters when you type your password in the Terminal. This is normal.

This command cancels the recognition of the plug-in AppleUSBTCKeyboard.kext loaded at startup of the Mac located in the path:

/System/Library/Extensions/AppleUSBTopCase.kext/Contents/PlugIns

and therefore it would need to be typed again after a reboot of the Mac.

So, something to possibly test ...
