Split A3 in half to A4

Hello,
I wanted to know if there is a way to automatically cut a PDF with images in A3 format into a PDF with double the number of images but in A4 format (which therefore contains half of the image)

Basically these PDFs are two-page spreads and I would like to split them into single pages

    In free solutions, I don’t know… besides using Acrobat Reader and cropping the page visually before printing it again to PDF… but you would have to do it for each page.

    In paid solutions: Acrobat "Pro" and its cropping tool.
