Hi everyone,
I'm having trouble activating my computer running Windows XP.
Let me explain my problem in detail:
I work in a company that manages electrical networks, where 80% of our computers run on original WINDOWS XP (Windows XP key provided by the manufacturer), and with software and licenses for specific computers (applications for management provided by the manufacturer *****paid very dearly***), so it's impossible to format the PC and do a clean installation or extract the licenses from the applications to use them afterward.
One of the ASUS computers malfunctioned and refused to start (Windows XP problem).
So I tried to repair it with the original installation CD,
but it does not offer a repair option (the R option is not listed).
So I used another Windows XP CD that came with the DELL PCs and it worked perfectly (the repair went well).
THE PROBLEM is that when Windows starts, an error message tells me;
THIS COPY OF WINDOWS MUST BE ACTIVATED WITH MICROSOFT......BLABLABLA (blah blah Windows not blah blah because ....lol)
In safe mode and using Hiren's CD, I checked the activation *****Windows is indeed activated with the original key.

Please help me solve this problem, help me 911.911 hhhh
Thank you in advance.

There aren't really any solutions... Microsoft no longer supports Windows XP, so it's impossible to activate it!
Personally, I work around the difficulty by installing Windows XP Home Edition, which runs for a month before activation (and after a month, I have to start over!)
Otherwise, there's another solution... but it all depends on what you want to do with XP, which is to install a Linux. If you choose this option, I highly recommend LinuxMint, which does everything XP does (except for running games). It installs easily, just like installing Windows, and it's free!
