In Inkscape, you can have only the outline of the shapes for cutting.

When you create your file for cutting, which software do you use?

Ah! Sorry, I don't have it..
But if AutoCAD can use any installed font, it shouldn't be too complicated to use one that allows for cutting..

For a character to be legible, it needs to have no holes.. for example, the letter "a" which is closed in the lower loop will create a hole when laser cutting.. That's why you need to use a font like "stencil"

If AutoCAD can't use any font, then you need to convert it to EPS for example in software that can do it... like Inkscape for instance.
