What does it have to do with the Windows 7 calculator? ^^

Otherwise: the calculator you have (and I have) is not a sophisticated calculator...
No brackets.
But since a bracket is equivalent to a parenthesis, you have to use a parenthesis instead of the bracket on the Casio.
We know that we use brackets in an equation when we are already using parentheses.
It's just to avoid making mistakes and to identify each "group."
Example
[(3*2)+2] is equivalent to ((3*2)+2) on the Casio.
