Anyway, you need to go up on the roof (or elsewhere) to loosen the mounting screws of the antenna, so you might as well go with this pointer.
Because with software on a computer, I don't see how the screws are going to loosen, LOL! Unless you have a motorized rotating antenna.

There are two relays in Montpellier where the old ones are connected but disturbed
by a mountain (Pic Saint Loup) and at 120 degrees a new relay has been installed, not too powerful, which I want to connect to.
It's rare for people to be connected to it and even a professional who installed an antenna got it all wrong (unless I'm mistaken) because he set his antenna to horizontal polarization and according to the CSA the transmitter is in vertical polarization.

Or the satellite, safer and not necessarily more expensive than buying a large gain triple-satellite antenna + amplifier without certainty of results.
I recommend Fransat because it offers better quality than TNT SAT, which is not approved by the CSA; it comes with a "lifetime" card while you need to renew it with TNT SAT every four years and it's paid.
Moreover, with a TV that has a satellite tuner and a certified Ci+ PCMCIA common interface, you can do without a decoder and just use the module and its card. The advantage is fewer connections and cables, leading to better quality with just one remote control. This is not possible with TNT SAT.
