Data Validation Issue

Hello,

I built a workbook containing several cells/drop-down lists referencing a list located in another workbook. This went well for 5 lists; however, I would like to create a 6th one using the same method but I cannot do it, I receive the following error message:
"You cannot use references to other workbooks as Data Validation criteria."

Does anyone have a clue to resolve this problem?

Thank you in advance.

    Hello
    the question is:
how did you do for the first five, because indeed Excel does not allow a list source anywhere but on the validation sheet, (even in the same file) unless it is named and the validation refers to the name and not to the address.
    kind regards

To keep it short, I actually proceeded by defining names for the selected ranges in workbook 2.
I then created a data validation in workbook 1 referring to the name "Source: =Listelogement".

I repeated the operation for 3 other lists, one of which I associated with a lookup range.

However, I want to repeat the operation and now it doesn't work anymore. I get the error message mentioned above.

      Thank you in advance.

I would like to add that under the current circumstances, if I select an already active cell/drop-down list, I go to data validation to change the source, by entering a source already validated in other cells, the same error message appears, so I cannot apply the modification.
