Hello,

On an HP ProDesk 400 G2 MT PC, running Windows 7 (64-bit), I have this graphics card: Intel HD Graphics 4600.
The monitor is connected to the VGA port. I noticed, next to the VGA port, a DVI-D port and I wonder if I can connect a second monitor to use it at the same time as the other monitor or if I have to choose one or the other.

On my laptop, I have an HDMI port where I connect a second monitor. I can therefore extend my workspace across both screens or display YouTube in fullscreen on one monitor while doing something else on the other. Will it be the same with the card I mentioned above..?

Thank you in advance for sharing your experience with this card

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 45.0.2454.101

Hi,

Yes, it will be the same, it normally supports two screens with two distinct connections.

I'm currently using this GPU with HDMI + DVI. ;-)

Thank you for the clarifications. I didn't want to invest in a DVI-D monitor before being sure... I would have preferred an HDMI port which would have allowed me to test immediately with the TV screen! Maybe there are DVI-I / HDMI adapters...? I'll look into it. Thanks again.
