Hello!
I have a problem with my Canon PowerShot SX700 HS camera.
When I turn on the camera, the screen stays black; I can tell it's on because it makes a sound and the screen gets a little brighter, but I can't see any menu or anything.
I can take photos, videos, etc. without any problem and I can view them on the computer, and the pictures are fine.
I think the problem lies with the screen, but I don't know how to fix it.

Hello, it is likely that the screen is broken. The repair generally costs more than the device itself, but it is possible to do it yourself:
- There are videos on YouTube that explain how to disassemble a large number of cameras
- You don't need a lot of tools, just some skill and patience.
- You can find almost all screens as spare parts in online shops.
- Diagnosing the problem requires some knowledge of electronics. There are thousands of enthusiasts, but they don't shout it from the rooftops.
If the task doesn't deter you, good luck.
