Hello,
I was in the process of correcting a text when the "new comment" tab greyed out. What should I do?

    Hello Mademarco,

    if you want to talk about the "New Comment" tool (or icon) in the "Review" tab, it is only accessible if you are in the body of the document.

    In other words, if your cursor is in a footnote (or endnote) or in a text box or in a header/footer, this command is not available.
