Nvidia GeForce 840M for gaming Solved/Closed

Question

Hello everyone, I would like to play some not very demanding games like Call of Duty Black Ops 1, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, Counter-Strike, Serious Sam, FIFA, Minecraft, etc. with a decent resolution. I'm not looking for perfection, but I would like to buy a new Asus computer with an Nvidia GeForce 840M graphics card, 1.9GHz Intel Core i3, and a resolution of 1366 x 768. Do you think I could play those games?

This Asus is simply an office laptop and not a gaming one.
The i3 processor is of low frequency and is not a gaming processor.
And the graphics card is class 2 in the benchmark and is not performant.

Hi,  With a 1.9 GHz processor, it might be just enough for gaming, I think. Otherwise, the rest should be able to handle most of the games you mentioned.

Unless I'm saying something stupid, we're building a tower, not a laptop. Laptops are either bought pre-assembled or, at most, without an OS.

Anyway, whether built or not, the question remains the same; it's about the budget.
A PC like the one I linked you in my previous messages would suit your needs.
After, in terms of demand and budget, you're at a level where it's tough to find. Either the PC lacks a bit of power, or you need to increase your budget. You have to search a bit through all the sites.

Assembling a laptop yourself is practically impossible.
And for a gaming laptop, you need a minimum of €1000.
