Hello,

I just found an icon in my open programs bar (W8.1) that I didn't recognize. When I clicked on it, the image from the webcam (my apple) appeared (I'm not sure I noticed the usual light) and when I tried to enlarge the window, it simply disappeared. I only had time to see that it was an Asus Life Frame window.

I did find this software in the control panel. I don't know how to launch it, but I uninstalled it.

Could it be remote control?

Thank you in advance

Best regards

Uncleon

    Hi,

You must have an Asus computer; it's a program installed when you buy the computer.

Hello and thank you for this quick response. I understand that, but what I don’t get is how it opened up when I didn’t even know it existed or obviously how to open it, and I’m home alone.
      Thanks in advance.
      Uncleon.
PS: even stranger, it disappeared when I clicked on the window enlargement.

ASUS programs tend to launch through scheduled tasks
You may not have noticed it before.
