Connect Central Unit to TV without computer screen.

Hello,
I have a computer unit (WITHOUT MONITOR) that I would like to use with the TV as the only display. My PC does not have an HDMI port, so I connected it using a VGA cable. On my TV screen, I change the source to "VGA" but nothing displays, it says "no signal, the TV will turn off." Does anyone have an answer?

    Hello,

    There is a good chance that you won’t be able to boot your PC with that TV screen before you have it set up. PCs typically come with drivers for most computer monitors, but not for TVs (or very few). I recommend, if you can, to temporarily connect a computer monitor (alongside the TV) so the PC boots to it, allowing you to install the drivers and set the TV as the main display. Once that's done, there shouldn't be any issues.
    But everything also depends on the type of PC and TV you want to connect; an old model won't project easily onto a newer TV!

      I bought it in 2013, so I think it's quite recent...
      If I connect a screen to it, how will I need to proceed to update the drivers?

        You will need to go online and search on Google for the drivers for this type of TV, then install them (nothing specific except to run the downloaded program)!
        Once these drivers are installed, you need to go into the PC's display settings and perform a detection so that it recognizes the TV and sets it as the main screen!
