Hello, I bought a second graphics card for my Alienware Area 51, the only problem is the other GTX is connected with two male/male 6-pin cables and I'm unable to find a cable. Does anyone have a link to this type of cable, or does it have a specific name?

it's a cable that goes from the power supply with a 6 pin male connector to the graphics card with a 6+2 pin male connector
yes, I understand, but while the connector on the GPU side is standard (it's called PCI-E 6/8 pin), on the power supply side it's generally a connector specific to your power supply...
For example, this supplier had this cable in their catalog, but it's an 8 pin to PCI-E (for Antec power supplies):

so I advise you to contact Dell

I misspoke, I already have the power supply, but I need a cable that goes from the power supply to the graphics card, a male to male cable.

    Hello,

indeed, we don't quite understand which cable you're looking for...

looking at the Dell site, here's what we find for the Alienware Area 51:
    https://www.dell.com/fr-fr/shop?showMessage=1#AnchorZone3

you have space for several GPUs (I count 3?), your power supply is modular, you'll need the 6 or 8-pin PCI-Express cables to power your 2nd GPU
These cables must have been supplied with the PC, right?
because they may be specific to your power supply, which we don't know^^

only the cable from the first graphics card has been provided, it is a cable that goes from the power supply with a 6-pin male connector and arrives at the graphics card with a 6+2 pin male connector.
my power supply is the 850 watts one.

    Hello stgm1,
For the PCIE cable, it depends on your power supply, so do you still have free slots to plug in these cables?
Could you send me the serial number (service Tag) of your machine in a private message to further check your configuration?
Did you buy the second GTX 980 from DELL?
I also invite you to send me photos of the available ports on the power supply and those of the PCIE cables (including a photo of the label) already connected to the first graphics card.
    Have a nice day.
