Issue with The Sims 3 patch 1.67

Hello,
After some issues, I had to uninstall and then reinstall all of my Sims 3. Following that, the launcher asked for an update which I accepted. It took a long time to download but it worked. However, when I relaunch the Sims 3 launcher, it asks me again for this TS3 1.67.2.0240xx update. This is the second time I'm downloading it and it keeps telling me the game is not up to date.
As a result, some worlds and other items I've purchased online cannot be installed.
Can anyone help me sort out this mess?

Install the update manually;
For Mac

I'm sorry to bother you again, Papounet, and I thank you for your patience, but I have a PC with Windows 8.1 and not a MAC.

Thank you for your last response. I'm sorry, I didn't see the message about the Mac. This is the first time I’m posting a question on this forum. So, I sent the download and now I have to wait… a long time. Looks like it’s going to be a good day!!! But I’m not giving up!

I'm not surprised that you're having issues with the update because apparently you have a poor connection.

Yet I had never had any issues before. Incomprehensible.
But normally, I have a perfectly acceptable internet speed. Well, I hope I will manage. In any case, thank you for your help.

A bandwidth can be adequate if we are the only ones using it.
But if there is TV through ADSL + one or more devices connected to the box, like smartphones, laptops, gaming consoles, etc., you divide the connection by all the devices using the connection at the same time.

Thanks again. Well, it seems that my connection is not great at the moment. I think I'll try to re-download later. I have a live box but without TV because I can't get a sufficient speed. It fluctuates between 1.6 to 3 megabytes at times. Since I've just changed provider, the problem might actually be coming from there if you tell me that my speed is not enough to load the patch. That said, it does load, but when I relaunch the game, it hasn't been accepted. It's a bit frustrating, but I appreciate all this information.
