Color printing

Hello!
Since I got LibreOffice Writer, I can't print in color anymore. It's not the cartridges because my HP Photosmart printer makes perfect color copies.
When I start printing from a program, I initially see a color preview of my document, then a black and white preview. I checked the printer settings, and the black and white printing box is not checked.
