convert an .mcf file to a pdf file

Hello,
I have made photo books with PIXUM which uses the CEWE software and generates a .mcf file. I cannot open this file for reuse.
I would like to convert this .mcf file to a pdf file.
What techniques and software should I use?

I downloaded their software but after trying it, I got a "File not convertible" ??
I sent them a message to report this issue. I'm waiting for their response.

I also tried this software. But it's hard to download (we go around in circles on the site). And once loaded??? I don't know how that works. The author has written a lot: it's a beta version, you need to change the code of this thing and that thing??? Too complicated for me.

Still, I'm waiting for a response from pdf24 and from Pixum, who already replied: it's not possible, but I've just insisted again. So I'm waiting.
