As far as I know, your burner is compatible with Mac, but it depends on your Mac model: for Macs without a CD/DVD drive like the MacBook Air, Apple has "restricted" its laptop so that it only accepts the Apple CD/DVD drive. Hence the importance of being precise in your request.
What is the exact model of the Mac and what version of Mac OS X is on this Mac?
By exact model, I mean:
- Portable Mac: iBook? MacBook? MacBook Pro? MacBook Air? Screen size?
- Desktop Mac: PowerMac, iMac, Mac Pro, ...?
- Processor type: PowerPC G3, G4 or G5? Intel Core, Core2Duo? Intel i3, i5, i7?
- Processor frequency
- Year of release or new purchase
