Hello everyone,
I have heard several times that a connection via RS232, although slower, is more reliable than a USB connection.
Could it be because the protocols used by RS232 are perhaps simpler or precisely slower? I must admit I can't find anything very explicit on the subject.
If anyone has a more complete and accurate answer than mine, I would be grateful.

what you write is true, it's slower but more reliable
the big advantage is that it's NATIVE with electronic components, no need for software to run a serial port!
