Hello, I have a client who gave me their eMachines G520 PC running Windows 7, and I would like to find the right Wi-Fi drivers please.
I have already downloaded something from Broadcom and Atheros on HP and other sites, but it doesn't work... I really need the official drivers from eMachines please.
Best regards.

Hello,
Emachine is part of the Asus family, but there are no drivers offered on the site!
Use the automatic detection on the website touslesdrivers.com!

You can go read this: https://forums.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-19351944-pilotes-emachines-g520
This PC seems to be an ACER and not a HP, and it was equipped with Vista and not Win 7, so it's not surprising that it doesn't work.
On this site, you have both links for Broadcom and Atheros..
It's up to you to accurately identify your hardware. -

Hello,
please don’t complain... your model number G520 doesn’t exist with eMachine, that’s why I found it under ACER, as for HP, you mentioned it in your first post...
Now you say G50...?? doesn’t exist either
That’s why a precise answer isn’t coming
I only found E520 which could be yours.
Here’s the site where you can find your driver https://www.emachines.com/ec/en/US/content/drivers.html
You still need to specify if your Windows 7 is 32 bit or 64 bits...
If that’s not it, carefully recheck the correct model reference of your machine. -
It's okay, let it go. I couldn't find it, but "it's not a big deal," as the client said... well, I told him that if I found it, I would get back to him...
It's an eMachines G520 with Windows 7 32 bit.
The photo here: http://www.laptopspirit.fr/wp-content/uploads/new/acer-emachines-g520-163g16mi-300x200.jpg
(after Acer and partners with machines, so you might be right, but it says eMachines on the computer, even when you turn it on)
I found this: https://www.emachines.com/ec/en/US/content/drivers.html
When I go to [Select my product from a list], I select group "notebook" [series D series], and in product, I put D520, it shows up, but what I don't understand is that on the computer it says G520; there's even a metal thing on top that says G520... what should I do?? -
I don't know why you're stressing over nothing,
just install the ActiveX from this site and let it suggest the driver that goes with your PC:

I think that if you take this: https://www.emachines.com/ec/fr/FR/content/drivers.html
on the French site... The G520 exists while not on the US site
and by choosing Vista 32 bits, the drivers are probably the same..
otherwise, you could check on the Atheros site http://www.atheros.cz/ or Broadcom to find the driver specific to your wifi... But you need to know the model that is installed on your machine....
Normally, you can find that by looking inside the PC or with a program like Everest or SIW or the PCI_Vend code from the device manager..
We should be able to find it.
