Hello,

I just got a Canon IR 1133 printer without the driver installation disc. I've had trouble finding a free download site. Please help me resolve this issue.
I am using Windows 7 on a 64-bit laptop.
Thank you in advance for your help.

    Good evening,

    That's quite something!!!

You just have to go to the manufacturer's website and it's right at your fingertips, proof:

    Hello,

On Canon's website, they should be retrievable, right?

Check this page, there are several downloads available (I haven't gone any further).

    I hope I've helped you.

Indeed, the drivers are downloadable directly from Canon's website; you just need to specify the OS, and that's it. He just needed to think a little, when there's a will, there's a way.

@Stargate43, yes, same research, same link... Funny. I was just a bit slower ;)
I agree with you, but I'm increasingly putting things into perspective. Some people have more ease (or intuition) when it comes to searching the web...

For the Canon website, it's not very intuitive when you want to find drivers. It's better to land on the page directly via Google.

Honestly, even a 5-year-old could manage to download the right drivers for the right OS; I find that Canon's website is very well designed and quite intuitive for searches of this type of product.

The image is clickable for enlargement in actual size.

Honestly, I don't see how anyone could make a mistake or do something wrong.

Anyway, the main thing is that the solution has been provided.

Best regards and good night ;-)

I am lost like many others by the multitude of files available on the Canon site, and I want to clarify that after downloading the generic PC6 driver (which, by the way, did not work), the question remains important. And, above all, there is no such thing as a stupid question.... What may seem obvious to some may not be for others, so a little tolerance, please.
