      All TNTSAT channels are free = no subscription required, but for rights reasons, the vast majority are encrypted. A specific Canal Ready HD decoder is needed, but you will still not have HD1 and 6TER, which are exclusive to the Fransat bouquet on Eutelsat 5WA at 5°W.

      Make the distinction between clear satellite channels, which are necessarily free (e.g., BFM TV, I-Télé, France 24, etc.) and channels that are free but encrypted, such as TF1, F2...

      More TV 8 Mont Blanc on Astra 1, the alpine channel is broadcast exclusively and freely on the Eutelsat 5WA satellite (= available on Fransat, Bis TV, Bein Sport TDA packages ..),

      To continue following it from a Canal Ready decoder for TNTsat or Canalsat, add a DiSEqC switch with 2 inputs and 1 antenna pointed at 5°W which can be a 60 cm parabolic or a discreet square flat (e.g. Selfsat H50D)

      Another solution is to get an HD Fransat decoder that will also allow access to HD1 and 6TER which are not on Astra 1....( + Bein sport at €12/month)
