Hello everyone, I don't understand how to use layers with Gimp. How do you stack them? Also, with Gimp, when you're done with a tool, how do you make it inactive? Thank you and have a nice day.

    Hello,

    To overlay layers, you open your first image and then open as layers the other images. Note that you can also drag and drop from your file, and you will end up with one layer per image.
    To work with layers, you select the one you want to modify, and with the tools and menus available, you can apply your corrections, even using the right-click in the layers window.
    To disable a tool, you change it to brush, for example. Anyway, when you're working, there is always one tool active; it's only when you open Gimp that they are all inactive.
