Hello,
I'm using, or rather I'm trying to use, the Kies software to retrieve files (photos) from my mobile phone (Samsung GT19300).
However, when I connect the phone with the Kies software and execute the command "transfer to PC," a message "waiting to transfer files to the library" appears and nothing happens.
I have therefore deleted the Kies application from my Mac but I can't completely remove it from the trash because a message appears saying "the kiesagent file is in use."
I don't know what to do to recover these photos.
I'm using Kies 3.1 on Mac OS X 10.5.
Can someone please help me?
Thank you in advance.
Configuration: Mac OS X Leopard (10.5) / Firefox 16.0

Hello,
You need to go to the Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Users & Groups -> Login Items tab. Do you see anything related to Kies in the list?
If so, you need to select it and click on the - to remove it.
Then, you need to restart your Mac and try emptying your trash again.
You can try Android File Transfer (available here).
I don’t know it, but its description gives hope that it will work.
Good luck
Cheers!

Android File Transfer is an application for Macintosh computers (running Mac OS X 10.5 or later) you can use to view and transfer files between your Mac and an Android device (running Android 3.0 or later).
Good luck
Cheers!
