Excel tab issue in the taskbar

Hello,

I have a small problem regarding the Windows taskbar (at the bottom) for displaying the Excel files that are open on my PC.
Before, when I opened 4 Excel files, I had 4 tabs on my Windows taskbar, but now I only have one and I have to switch from one file to another using (Ctrl+Tab).

How can I get back as many Excel tabs on the Windows taskbar as there are open files?
Thank you in advance,
Romain
Configuration: Windows 2000 Internet Explorer 6.0

Hello, I don’t know if you have solved your problem, but I had the same issue and I proceeded as follows:
in the Excel tools menu, choose options
in the display tab, check the box "windows in the taskbar" ...
there you go, it worked for me

Right-click on the taskbar -> Properties, uncheck the "group similar buttons" option

Thank you, but actually my problem is that I don’t have that thing to group similar buttons.
And for Word for example it doesn’t do that for me, it’s really annoying.
      Thank you in advance,
      have a nice day.

I have Excel 2003 and it's not grouping them.
Have you tried updating your version? (SP)
