Hello,
I wanted to know what the difference is between an audio input and an audio output because I’m planning to buy a computer monitor and I wanted to know if an audio output allows you to connect speakers. Thank you in advance.

An input allows you to use a microphone for example: sound "enters" the computer.
The output allows you to connect speakers or headphones: sound "exits" the computer.
