Hello,
For several times now, a blank page has been displaying during my browsing on Firefox: about blank.
I would like to get rid of this "thing". Thank you in advance to whoever pays attention to this message.

Hi,
About Blank is the new tab page on certain browsers (and it's not a virus as indicated in your forum)
You can always change it:
https://support.mozilla.org/fr/kb/personnaliser-page-nouvel-onglet?redirectlocale=fr&redirectslug=page-nouvel-onglet-afficher-masquer-personnaliser-sites-preferes

*Simply click the pin icon in the top-left corner of the site to lock it in place on the page.

*Click the "X" in the top-right corner of the site to remove it from the page.

Removing the display of favorite sites
If you do not want to see your favorite sites when you open a new tab, you can easily hide them:
*To show or hide the "New Tab" page, open a new tab, then click the button in the top-right corner of the page. Hide New Tab - Win Hide New Tab - MacHide New Tab - Lin
If you care about your privacy, you can completely disable this feature:
1. In the address bar, type about:config, then press Enter.
? The "Warning Page: Proceed with Caution!" should appear. Click "I accept the risk!" to access the "about:config" page.
2. Type browser.newtab.url in the search bar.
3. Double-click on the preference browser.newtab.url and change the URL from about:newtab to about:blank. Alternatively, you can set it to about:home to have Firefox's default homepage or to google.fr, for example, to have your preferred homepage.
4. Click "OK" and close the "about:config" tab.
