Removing a friend on FB: consequences for one's own account

Hello,
I would like to know, as the title suggests, what are the consequences of removing a friend on FB, particularly concerning photos. When removing friend X, do we lose all the photos in which we have been tagged? Is there a difference if we block the said "friend"?

    Hello

    removing a friend only removes the friend from your friends list (thus preventing you from seeing anything the ex-friend shares with their friends).

      So I won't be automatically untagged from their photos? Unlike blocking them?

      To my knowledge, you can only tag your friends. If you are no longer friends with them, you can no longer be tagged in one of their photos.

      No, only what your friends share appears on your profile.
