Disable iMessage on Mac

Hello, as you can see in the title, I would like to deactivate iMessage on my MacBook Pro.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance. :')

    Hello,

    To disable Messages on Mac, you need to open Messages -> Preferences menu (or cmd + ,) -> Accounts tab -> select the account in the left column -> uncheck Enable this account.
