To answer the questions:
1°) What antivirus do you have??? > AVG antivirus 2013

2°) What printer and scanner do you have??? > Canon MP280 = printer + scanner (+ another HP LaserJet printer on the network)

3°) What browser do you use??? > Chrome

4°) What CD/DVD burning software do you use??? > I never use it, but there are other people on the computer.

- I will also perform the recommended updates for Adobe and Java... thank you!

- CCleaner Piriform 2.34: that's already what I have!

- However, I was very surprised to discover your list of programs to remove!

but I have "Windows Live Download Tool"

- HPLaserJetHelp_LearnCenter = it’s for visiting the HP site, if we make purchases
- Are all the HP and Canon stuff ......
I installed my HP printer only by manually fetching the printer drivers, and this installs only the necessary software
same for the scanner

- AVG Security Toolbar = the toolbar is not necessary
Download AdwCleaner onto the Desktop (thanks to Xplode)

Close all your programs
Launch AdwCleaner
Click on the Delete button
Wait...
restart the PC as requested
Post the report that appears at the end of the deletion.
(The report is also saved under C:\ AdwCleaner[SX].Txt)

* Click on "browse" and go to the report AdwCleaner[SX].Txt which is saved on the desktop.
* Then click on "click here to upload the file" and wait ...

Then you restart AdwCleaner, and you click on Uninstall

- QUAD Driver Fix Interactive Brands = software that is normally used to check if the drivers are up to date
it’s the manufacturer’s site to visit first
otherwise it is better to go to https://www.driverscloud.com/fr if needed, the site is safer

- Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 Redistributable = to know if "FileMaker Pro 12" might need it ???
usually, it is used for programming software
so I hesitate to let you remove it
you can try, and if FileMaker does not work anymore (or works very poorly) you reinstall it

- MSXML ...... = Microsoft update for Office packs

Cleaning, Checking, and Defragmenting your Disks

-* Cleaning
Right-click on "computer" ==>"open" ==> right-click on drive C ==>Properties ==>tab "General"
Click on the "disk cleanup" button, OK
you do this for each of your hard drives ...

-* Error checks
Right-click on "computer" ==>"open" ==> right-click on the drive "C:\" ==>Properties ==>tab "Tool".
click on "Check now", a box opens, check the boxes:
-"Automatically fix file system errors..."
-"Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors..."
Start, ok
if it tells you to restart your PC to do it, you restart and let it run, it takes a bit of time it’s normal.
You do this for each of your drives ...

there will be a blue screen scan for 10 to 30 mins depending on the volume
(up to 2 hours or more for a volume of 1 TB or more)

Then still in the same tab, you choose:
-* Defragmentation
"defragment now", OK
a box opens, you select the disk to defragment, and you click on "analyze", then after the analysis, "defragment" > OK
you do this for each of your drives ...

Note: if you have a utility to defragment, use it instead ...
