Hello everyone
I can't capture the image (only bars) with the capture card, but I do have sound
my camcorder is equipped with:
an AV output = jack
a DV output
a USB output
I connected the camcorder's AV output to the capture card with the provided red, white, yellow cord and the pin (which I can't connect to the PC via USB, probably the image).
help me solve the problem
thank you in advance

    Hello
For those who bought an Easycap key or another one because it plays your videos in black and white, the solution has been found:
Plug your key into your PC (this is important), open your honestech program, then click on video settings (logo resembling 2 nuts), a window opens, then click on command, another window opens then select the small black arrow, click on PAL_B then scroll down to SECAM L_1 then click apply and ok, all while playing your video
    Everything is in color!!!!
And also since you have a miniDV camcorder, read this top that I publish 10 times a week on the forum:

    --Transfer miniDV tape
Transfer miniDV tape to laptop or PC tower, you need to have a FireWire or iLink input (IEEE1394 port) on your laptop or PC tower, do the transfer with Windows Live Movie Maker or iMovie (Mac) or commercial editing software, the computer recognizes the camcorder immediately for capture
An internal IEEE1394 (FireWire iLink is the same) card is easily installed on a PC tower
If it is a laptop that does not have this input a second solution - check if the laptop has a slot on the side "express card" (PCMCIA) slot protected by a dummy plastic card, there are FireWire express card adapters:
    https://www.amazon.fr/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=firewire+expresscard&tag=googhydr0a8-21&index=aps&hvadid=9215056378&hvpos=1t1&hvexid=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=101097741010537552&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=b&ref=pd_sl_6kh108ih4c_b
3rd ultimate solution: you need to buy a converter box from analog to USB
This box or key takes care of the conversion "hardware from analog stream to digital" and we connect the box to the computer via a USB cable, the file is converted to MPEG2, an easy-to-burn format compatible with all players and the possibility of editing with "studio"
We connect the box and camcorder with an S/VHS connection recommended or composite (less good) (RCA yellow) and a cord for sound (2 RCA red, white) for the VCR you need a SCART connection with an adapter or cord with the "out" direction or with an in-out switch output S/VHS or composite RCA yellow (less good) plus sound, two RCA red white outputs
I recommend the Dazzle box either "recorder" or "video creator, platinum" depending on your needs
The price of the software provided with the latter makes the product interesting
there are cheaper products like USB keys and 4 wires but be careful it's often a source of troubles in view of the desperate messages on the forum
The image quality can only be judged on the TV screen once the film is burned

      Good evening everyone
Thank you for the response, in fact I had to go into the settings and set PAL B and adjust
      See you

Thank you for the information, but I had purchased the USB Video Acquisition Key, already having difficulties installing the software "USB Video Grabber SVG 2.O A1" and then capturing analog video with CyberLink PowerDirector, but the result was limited to about a minute in duration despite the extended recording on the camcorder, and that's when I realized that it is only software, so I wonder if the proposed software is still just software.
