I will try to give you some info to create an account: when you enter an account number that does not exist, you will get a message saying "select an account". In this case, press the letter "c" and another screen will appear in "title" which shows in yellow; you indicate the name of the account to be created and then "enter". The "call key" box will be completed with the first letters of the title you entered, then you click on "save" and the account is created, and you will find yourself where you were in the input.

To find a record by its amount, you need to click on

list of entries
search
then launch to start another search after, you need to click twice on search.

To make a backup:

TOOLS
FILE TRACKING
BACKUP
BACKUP A FILE
BACKUP THE FILES

TO EXPORT THE BALANCE

editions
balance
date to date (put the dot)
start date
end date
print (put the dot)
launch



And to enter a client account when you launch Quadra Compta, you will see a screen that appears asking for the "file number"; either you look in the accounting folder where you will find all your files and select the desired client or in the last opened files. Once you have selected the client, press enter, and to enter the entries, go to the elevator "input" then click on standard input; a page will appear where you select the journal you want "sales, purchases, etc..." next to "period" put the month and year "1208" for example, but if other people have already worked on it, use "1008" for example, and you will see the entries already made. No need to save on each page; this is done automatically; just make a backup from time to time in case the computer doesn't restart one day.


If you happen to record entries and you made a mistake with the journal, you need to take the last line, hold shift and the "+" sign, and go up
then "control and the letter 'x'" then control and the letter "c", all should become yellow
switch to the correct journal and then control "v"

As for me, I have just acquired Quadra Compta, and I created an accounting file. After that, to start entering data, there are no default journals (purchase, sale...) Do I need to create them?
